Mabalingwe

My father and his other half came for their "yearly" visit this weekend.
I was extremely excited as I have not seen them since January. And in my mind that's like 2 years!
We booked a house in the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve close to Bela-Bela, Limpopo. Perfect for a group of friends or a family.
Saturday arrived and after a lot of running around I managed to make Cedric and I late so we were not able to pick them up at the airport, that made me a very unhappy lady. Thank goodness my sister was there and they picked them up.
We had so much fun and the house was beautiful. We did our own game drives but unfortunately did not see much. :(
The front of the house
Silly moments = priceless moments
Landan loved these sticks
Special moments
The sunset! Uhhhh-mazing!
Landan and Cedric looking at the Kudu's
The one part of the outside area where the swimming pool is
The one outside shower
Not even 1 of the Big5 animals came to visit us or was nice enough to make their presence known while on our drives.

Pretty scenery on the game drive
Boo and myself on the roof of the car
One of the oldest pubs in South Africa in the middle of the Game Reserve
Impala's
Zebra
Entrance to Mabalingwe
I loved spending time with the people that I love but hated that I managed to catch the flu on Sunday night.
I am feeling much better already and was so grateful for the Public Holiday we had yesterday.
We said our goodbye's and now we are counting down the days till the next visit!

If you would like to have a weekend getaway feel free to go visit the Mabalingwe website or Bush Lodge Properties (we booked through them). Or feel free to email Lizelle Bester directly at +27 82 767 8849 or lizelle@bushlodgeprop.co.za, who assisted us with her professional, efficient and friendly service. I am sure she will find exactly what you are looking for!

Have a darling Thursday my Journeyers!
