AfricanSwiss

Hello Journeyers.
It's Monday, AGAIN. But who cares, because we have 12 Days before we hit the road for our week long holiday in the bush and as you can tell we cannot wait! We started doing mid-year breaks last year and I think it's perfect. I honestly don't know how people can work throughout the year and only go on holiday once a year! Who does that? Workaholics, that's who! Every person in this world deserves a break sometimes! No a long weekend does not count! You need to take at least 5 consecutive working days for it to qualify as a decent break! Capish???? Great, happy we understand each other! hehe
Other than our holiday we realised we actually have a very busy last 6 months ahead of us.
Next week it's our 3 year Anniversary. (Yes you read right. 3 YEARS!)
Then we hit the road for our holiday. (Bush here we come! I will be doing lots of shooting of animals, with my new camera of course! I don't like that whole killing thing. Sorry boo.)
There's a long weekend in August (thanks to the woman of the world) and we are going to the bush, again!
Then it's MY birthday! Can I get a WOOP WOOP! :)
And then the moment we have all been waiting for, Cedric's birthday! He is turning the BIG 3-0! You go baby! For that we are joining his family in Adelaide on their hunting farm.
Last but not least, December we are going to Mauritius to spend Christmas and New Years with his family.
See I told you guys there's a hectic few month lying ahead of us. Plus we would love to squeeze a weekend away to visit my dad.
Back to our weekend. We had proper winters weather this weekend and decided Saturday that a night away would be perfect. So we phoned AfricanSwiss and booked ourselves in for a night out.

Pathway to the chalets.
We chose to stay in the Luvut.
It is a nice open plan chalet, with a fire place, boma, shower and outdoor bath.
The bedroom and fire place area.
The bathroom area.
The outside bath.
The view from our chalet.
We went to the restaurant area for a nice lunch and decided to drive up to the look out tower thingy to go look at the sunset. :)
Thank you clouds for either spoiling our pics or making them. Not sure how I feel yet. haha.
Cedric on the tower.
Me and the tower.
The tower. The owner called it a castle and I was very excited to go see the castle. Fail! haha
And Cedric made a big friend. Next to Mo-Landy.
Cedric playing with the camera.
Cedric and myself would love to work on our photography skills and then hopefully sell or send our photos to nature/wildlife magazines one day. And we found a name for us: For Us Photography
Sunset photo taken by Cedric.
Sunset photo taken by myself. Who can spot the plane? hehe
Mo-Landy strutting its stuff for us.
We love tree shots! Well I do!
The dog (never found out what was his name) and a tree.
Sun hiding behind all the clouds.
Another tree and sunset shot.
And there you have our weekend round up! Thank you very much to all my readers who always take time out of their busy schedules to come read my stories and leave comments! I really love every single one of you! Obviously in a sisterly kind of way! Otherwise it would just be gross! haha
Till next time!
