Tip Top Nails SA Hamper

Hello Journeyers!
Last month I won my 2nd Blog Giveaway with Lipgloss Kisses! I swear that lady is my lucky charm!!! I should shrink you Chicara and keep you in my pocket! hehe
Last night I finally tested all the amazing colours that I received in the hamper. The hamper consisted of 5 Tip Top Nail colours, and their famous base and top coat. A Spa-Valous Candle and a Sun Protection Spray and After Sun Spray. The Spa-Valous candle I have been burning a few days and oh wow, the oil on your skin is just amazing! It leaves my skin smelling great and feeling super soft!

About the brand:

I decided after trying on all the colours to go with the Super Trooper colour. It tells you all about my personality. I love the bush, and this reminds me exactly of it! hehe

So far I love the product. I especially love the brush. The shape of the brush is oblong, which makes it nice and easy to apply the product. This is the first time that I'm using Tip Top Nail Polish so I have no idea how long the Nail Polish lasts before it start to chip. Let's hope long because I have high hopes for this product!

I hope you guys enjoyed this half a review. My apologies. I took the pictures last night as that is when I do my nails usually. Next time I will stick it out and do it during the day so that you can see the colour better.

Have you used Tip Top Nail Products before? And what is your verdict on it?
Looking forward to hear your comments!

Have a fantastic day everyone!

RMB WineX

Happy Monday Journeyers. Or rather in my case sad, depressed and gloomy Monday! Cedric left for Mauritius this morning. I have mixed emotions about this. Aside from the fact that I have already cried because I miss him. I actually kinda hate him (not in a bad way), because I'm not with him! I mean who doesn't hate him right about now??? Yip I can see all of you nodding in agreement! hehe. Joking I don't really hate you boo boo. I just don't like you right now. But only because I miss you and I would much rather be with you now.

So yes, I won 2 Tickets from T & Serendipity to attend the RMB WineX that happened last week. I sat with a big excited smile on my face after seeing this on Twitter the Saturday Morning....

So we were dressed and ready to go and do some wine tasting the Thursday night. You know, treat our taste buds a bit. :)
We tasted a few and I truly cannot tell you which one was my favourite, but there was one. But I would definitely go do it again, and maybe just take a note pad with. You know, for those "in case I forget" moments.
Another note to self - take friends with!!! I started to feel like a lonely crazy drunk (I was not drunk, as I was designated driver) person while wandering around with Cedric, both of us losing each other now and then, and then frantically turning around to find each other. I think we looked rather hilarious to be honest with you guys! See this is where the friends come in handy. Surrounded by people you know = you don't look crazy.

Back to the Expo. We were entertained to the beats of Kaya FM (thanks guys) and Cedric was happy to find some French Wine Stands. We did think that they could have done a bit more effort with regards to the decor...But that's just my opinion. Perhaps people don't go for the decor. haha.

But thank you again to Tash (T & Serendipity) and RMB for the tickets and for bringing some great tasting wines together in one place! :)
Good Wine = HAPPY ME!

Look! A photo of my favourite wine for the evening! Thank you Peter Falke Wines.

I cannot wait for next year's WineX! Keep them coming! :)
And I also cannot wait to hear how all of your weekends were! Please share the love below!

Have a wonderful non blue Monday everyone!

The Laser Beautique

Happy Friday Journeyers!
I feel like this month is really tackling me from all directions, and the best part I can't see it coming! haha. Only because we are already past halfway! Where is the time going???
I have been so busy organising the #JHBbloggermeetup that I am losing track of the days. But I am enjoying every minute of it and I cannot wait to meet everyone in 22 Days!!!!! *happy dance*

Back to business, I won a R500 Voucher with Lipgloss Kisses from The Laser Beautique back in JUNE!!! Yes, June people! *shocking* One thing I've realised is that I'm horrible when it comes to vouchers. Not that I don't like them, I love them. I just forget about them. Now I have to be honest, when I first heard that I won, I first jumped up and down with excitement and then I froze, because all I read was "LASER". And to be honest, I'm terribly scared of anything laser! And after going through their list of things that they do I still didn't find the "fun" parts of it. Till I saw a post from Chicara where she said she went for a manicure. So I scurried back to their website and found the "fun" parts. haha. Big blonde / brunette moment from my side! And I immediately phoned them and booked a nice 30min Swedish back, neck and shoulder massage and a Deluxe Mani.

I was welcomed by the friendly faced staff from the one in Morningside Shopping Centre.
I first had my mani done, which I found out was actually not a normal mani, it was Shellac. I was extremely happy as I've been wanting to do this for a while! With a wide variety of colours to choose from I was a bit stuck. Because now I had to choose a colour that I would stare at for the next 14 - 21 days! Eeek. But I decided on a beautiful coral colour (number 17). Perfect for summer! After the mani (which also included a amazing hand / arm massage) I was half asleep and ready for my massage.

Let's just say after the mani, and then the 30min massage I was completely stress free and floating on cloud nr 9. I felt like a brand spanking new person! Ready to take on the world again! Thank you so much to Leverne, the wonderful and friendly manager (who also phoned me twice to remind me of my voucher - thank you!) and then also to Connie and Phumi who pampered me into a clearheaded state of blissfulness!

Thank you again for making me feel like a princess and for the perfect service! I will be seeing you again shortly!!!

Durban - Ile Maurice Restaurant plus all good things happen in 3's!

Hello Journeyers!
What did I tell you in last weeks post? All good things happen in 3's.
And I was right! YESSS!
Yesterday while scrolling through my FB page I noticed that the winner of a Blog Comp I entered was announced. I was extremely excited to see that because I was really hoping that I would win this one.
And as I frantically searched for the name of this winner I at first completely misread my name, yes excitement must have blurred my vision a bit. But after a second look I saw my name staring back at me!
BOOYAAAAA!!!!

3rd win in a week! That's what I like to see. And as I know my luck, the next thing I will win will be by the time I'm 6 feet under the ground. Therefore I am taking these 3 wins ALL innnn. Savoring every moment of it!

Now just to wait for the goodies to arrive. The suspense is killing me! :)

So thank you to Clarita Smit for choosing me for the Lush Hamper! I really cannot thank you enough!

And as mentioned in yesterdays post, I was going to share with you a very yummy experience we had in Umhlanga.
Cedric told us about a Mauritian Restaurant that he has been wanting to visit for a while. And it's understandable as it's his culture and he obviously misses it. So we said if there's one thing we HAVE to do over that weekend, it's going to be to go to this restaurant!
If you see this sign, STOP and book a table! ASAP!
We phoned the Sunday around lunch time to make a booking, as we were not sure how busy they can get.
I was very excited to have Mauritian food again. All of us were ready by 6:30 and ready to go indulge ourselves.
My mommy and I.
As we arrived at the Restaurant we were welcomed with friendly faces and experienced staff.
They came to tell us about the specials and I immediately knew what I will be having.
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I am a sucker for a good Butternut soup! And that was their soup of they day. They had a crab soup too that sounded delicious but I was planning to have crab as my mains.
My mother and Marius.
My Boo and I.
Table photo's! Love them! :)
Cedric and Marius both ordered curries, Cedric a Octopus Curry and Marius a Chicken and Prawn Curry. It looked divine!
My mother had the Sea bass with veggies.
Gratin de Crabe
Poisson du Jour
The Menu.
The big sign painted outside the restaurant! Cannot miss it!
We ended off the night with yummy desert and a coffee and off to the couch it was for some golf!
What a great way to ending our last night on holiday.
Thank you Ile Maurice Restaurant!

If you find yourself in the Umhanlga area or even live there. Please go visit them!

Next time I would love to go there during the day. Just to experience the view too. :)

Have a great day everyone!
