Let's Ty our hands together and pray!

SUPER TY!
Yesterday while doing my daily "Blog scroll", this post from Brie caught my attention! She is such a awesome lady to have in our lives. Have you guys seen what great she's doing for the whole idea of Cancer??? And that's when I realised I have to start joining and spreading the word with her and all the others!
So today when you read this post, please please please send a little prayer up to heaven for Ty and his family.
He is a strong, courageous boy with a family that loves him more than life itself!
He needs all the love, support and prayers!

And in celebration of his birthday today! We just have one thing to say -

F U CANCER!!!!!!!!!!

{Food} Throbbing Strawberry...

So last night we finally met up with our "Travel Partners" for the first time since Paris! I cannot believe that amazing holiday was 2 months ago! Time flies!
Anyway we met them at Throbbing Strawberry in Douglasdale. I like the place! Only 2 things I do not like:
1. If we go after work or even at 6, we always sit in traffic! :(
2. This place is always packed which means no good seats. (this is bad for us, and good for the business)

It was so nice to catch up with them! They are still happy and healthy! :) Most important part!
For dinner each of us ordered something different from the menu....

Cedric had rump steak with chips -

Alan had Calamari and chips -

Lelande had the Throbbing Burger (I must admit hers looked extremely good) -

And I had the Penne Roma pasta -

After the dinner we were so stuffed, but I am one of those people that go to the Desert part of the Menu first. {you all know I have a major sweet tooth - and those of you who do not know this needs to read my blog more often, hehe}
And one of my favorite deserts are Chocolate Fondant - I had this for the first time in Mauritius. {thank you baby so it's your fault that I am so addicted to this}
You all can guess what they had on the menu that made me decide to have desert (even with a tummy so full). Yes they had Chocolate Fondant, and I must admit, it was one of the best ones that I've had since Mauritius = me a very happy lady!

So yes, this is my little review of Throbbing Strawberry and I will really give it a 7/10

{Travel} Mossel Bay baby!

I cannot believe my MINI holiday is also already history! Makes me a very unhappy lady!
But at least we had an amazing time!
Cedric left for George for the Golf Competition he attended the Tuesday and I flew the Wednesday.
And as you remember I started getting a cold. Cedric and I watched the weather to know what to pack. We were welcomed with cold rainy weather! Thank you Cape Province - NOT! But that didn't stop us.
My father and his fiancee picked me up at the airport and we went for a nice seafood dinner.

 They had Yellow Tail (if I remember correctly)

The Thursday my father and I went to support Cedric on his last day of the Comp, and as my cold was only getting worse we only managed to do the first 9 holes with them in the wind and rain. {sorry I didn't make all 18 holes boo boo - I hate missing him play golf, and why you may ask??? Because I am his BIGGEST fan - DUH!!!!}
Fancourt is very pretty!
 My dad rocking a flower power umbrella!
 Cedric gave me his umbrella and he was soaked! :( thank you boo!

 Go baby go!

 Striking a pose! haha
 Some nature shots...

Friday morning I went to go pick Cedric up at Fancourt {that place makes me miss Mauritius}, and we went for a nice breakfast at Herold's Bay at Dutton's Cove. I cannot believe how cold it was and then it started raining again!
The view from Dutton's Cove
 Dutton's Cove-

I was so tired from all my coughing during the night and Cedric from all the functions and late nights that we just passed out for a afternoon nap. And then we went SHOPPING! :) But not even THAT made me feel better! :(
That evening we went to friends of mine for a nice braai cooked meal! Funniest friend ever! {Dankie Maryka}
I took Cedric to the Museum, but what a disappointment  they changed it and half of the history is not even about the South Africans anymore. So sad. The only thing he liked was the boat. :)

And the weekend we spend eating out, luckily the weather started changing, and we had a nice braai and we went to the Garden Route Game Reserve for a yummy Sunday lunch. It's very pretty there!

And then the part came I hate so much, leaving! I hate saying goodbye to my father, I always end up crying! So thank you very much daddy and Joni and boo boo for an awesome little breakaway!

My bargain buy {3euro dress}

Good morning!
I am taking a long weekend in 2 hours time! Yes! :)
As you all know, Cedric is playing the Golf Comp at Fancourt in George so I decided to take advantage of this and am flying down today. But I will be visiting my father in Mossel Bay! With just my luck I got sick Monday night and am sitting with a terrible flu! But that won't break my spirits!
So I promised you guys my first Fashion Blog! haha. Note that I suck with this, but seeing as everyone told me how pretty I looked I decided to do it. :)

But I did watch the recap yesterday and must say some of those dresses were AMAZEBALLS!

So here is my Top 3 Best & Worst Dressed:

Best - Giuliana Rancic, wearing Rafael Cennamo {Do I even have to start explaining why she's under BEST dressed?}

Best - Hayden Panettiere, wearing Marchesa {flawless beauty}

Best - Julianne Hough, wearing Georges Hobeika Couture {she looked amazing, and her eyes popped with this dress}

Worst - Elisabeth Moss, wearing Dolce & Gabbana {I just don't like all the details, too many frills and patterns}

Worst - Zosia Mamet, wearing Bihbu Mahoptra {mmmm no words}

And that's my recap of my Top 3 best & worst dressed!

South Africans - we like our Braai's!

Hello all my lovely journeyers!
We had long weekend and it came at the perfect time, just because things were getting a bit too much and I wanted that one extra day.
That would also be the reason my post isn't on it's usual Monday slot. :) {sorry}
But you have 3 to look forward to in the next 2 days! Yes get excited as I am also going to do my very first fashion post! {GASP} Yes you read right! Fashion Post, that department that I completely suck at!
Anyway back to our weekend shenanigans.
We had friends over for a "Cedric Fillet Special" braai. Had so much fun!

 The bride and groom to be!

And also received our 4th wedding invite. {Weddings that will all take place in the next 8months} You know what that means! Shopping!!!! Woop woop!

And now I am experiencing one of my blank moments... I have no clue what we did Saturday! {oops}
Sunday my family came for a "Cedric's first attempt at a chicken webber braai", and we all could have guessed that it came out perfectly! My pro chef!

My mother, sister and Landan -
 My mother and I -
 The other bride & groom to be -
 Ipad crazy!
 Good luck to this handsome man for this weeks final golf comp in George -
 mmmm I only see now that Landan looks drunk!
 Sisters {heart}

And Landan is getting cuter by the day I swear! I just want to eat him up!

Yesterday was our public holiday, Heritage Day aka National Braai day! Yes that is correct, we even have our own holiday for having a braai! How cool is that???
Of course we also watched the Golf most of the weekend, and Congratulations to Brandt Snedeker for winning the Tour Championship and the FedExCup. At least we watched it in the best way possible!
Golf, Pizza and wine!

Stay tuned for the second post later today. I am a bit upset that I missed the E! Live from the Red Carpet for the Emmys. But will do my review of Top 3 Best and Worst dressed later!
